Will Attend:

….I regret not applying to more places…specifically OOS privates.

Cal is the best school in the nation, way better than Ivies. Look at their rankings. Something like 97% of their programs are top 10 departments, more than Harvard and MIT.

^
I have this funny feeling that now might not be the best time to go to a public university in California. Just saying.

By the way, obviously, UC Berkeley is still a great school and people who got in should be very proud. I’m merely responding to the somewhat ridiculous assertion that UCBerkeley beats Harvard and MIT hands down.

Wanna talk ridiculous? Harvard’s endowment. LOL. That alone catapults them past Berkeley – so much potential.

fyi:
Harvard: ~$34 billion
Berkeley: ~$3 billion

and they don’t part with it…

After visiting U of C and Swarthmore, I decided to not finish my application. The schools just did not appeal to me. Also, I thought I had completed my application for Gtown, but I guess I was sent an email a few months ago that said I was missing some stuff (totally missed it)! It’s okay though, wouldn’t have been able to afford it + don’t think it was the best fit for me.
