=/ Those are all really great schools, and all EXTREMELY different schools. Try to figure out what you want from a college and keep narrowing it down.

My recommendation is to spend an evening/overnight at each of those schools, WITHOUT the accompaniment of friends or parents. By the time you return (alone) from the last school, you'll know in your heart where to attend next year.

Trust your heart in this matter.

I know that's what makes it so hard. They are all so different, and I do plan on visiting each school again. I'm not so much concerned about the fact that Bard is rural because even if I went to Bard nyc is relatively close what I'm concerned about is the difference in the education. A liberal arts education is just so different from the traditional college experience. Thanks for your support though, I really appreciate it. I'm sure in the end i'll make the right decision.

Nate, a liberal arts college is the traditional college experience. And if you are thinking of enrolling in The College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at USC or the College of Arts and Sciences at NYU you will essentially be attending a liberal arts college within a larger university. Bard will offer you what those schools at NYU and USC will offer you (well, more or less) without the graduate programs, business schools, dental schools, etc.

I'm most likely going to Bard.

i'm officially going to bard =]

I will be a Bardian as well. :)

I finally told my parents that Bard is in my heart. Hopefully they’ll realize that its worth it and say yes!!!

My daughter is happily going to Bard! But not until fall 2010 (admissions just granted her request to defer for one year).

^^ irvinemom, what’s she going to do?

She’s been invited to a ballet company trainee program, which she’ll attend beginning in the fall. But I’m so happy that she chose Bard since it’ll be a perfect place for her. I’ll be keeping tabs on the goings-on at Bard in the meantime, esp. their dance program with Bill T Jones in residence there, which is quite a coupe for the school!

I forgot to add that I found the following website that have Bard sweatshirts and t-shirts for sale:

[Apparel - Bard College Bookstore](http://bard.bncollege.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=43056&categoryId=40000&top=Y&langId=-1&level=2)

^^ My friend got a couple of the hoodies. Totally cool-looking. :)

I have enough Bard gear to last a life time. In fact I just drank out of my Bard water bottle. lol
