So who wants to go back already?

Yes, it's two days after Christmas and I am itching to get back on campus. My high school friends are not as interesting as my college friends, I'm getting annoyed with having to account for my every move with my parents, and although the food is great, I just miss college waaaay too much to appreciate it. ANyone else?

I'm still living at my on-campus apartment for the break. So I'm pretty much already on campus anyway. Just no one here, haha.

1...I totally agree. We ended first semester on 12/9. We return 1/17. That's five weeks off.

I've been counting days to 1/17 since before the Thanksgiving break. I've got one solid HS friend connection, but that's it.

Home is nice too, but yeah. Can't wait.

5 weeks? I would die before getting back on campus. I love it at home, but all I'm doing is milling around- doing nothing. I wanted to get started on several subjects that I'll be taking next semester but couldn't do it. I have 1.5 weeks before I go and I'm ready to go back!

If I didn't live near my college, I'd be spending the next two months in limbo. A'course, I have to work.

Off Dec 17. Spring semester begins Feb 13.

Hoo boy. I'm kinda ambivalent about classes starting, though...

We get five weeks because we go straight through on instruction...

Fall 2005: Start date 8/22. Labor Day off 9/5. Thanksgiving break the week of 11/21. Finals end 12/9. (Note no Columbus/Veterans Day off.)

Spring 2006: Dorms open 1/17. First class day 1/19. Spring break the week of 3/20, followed by one off day Fri 4/14. Finals end 5/12. (No president's day 2/17 off).

You'll note we went ten weeks straight in the fall. For spring 2006 we have eight weeks to our first break from the first day of instruction.

Wow we go back on 1/9 and end around 5/12 I think.

12/17 fall ended, 1/9 spring begins...I'm cool with the break, it's been great

I don't want to go back at all, I'm happy just chilling at home and taking a short minimester course at a community college near by, I like it a whole lot better than my university.

while i am glad to see my friends from highschool, I really miss Madison. I feel like I am more home at college than I do at home, and I will be happy to go back. To pass the time, one of my good friends I met there and I are going north to go icefishing for a week, and we are going back early together to party, so my trip home is'nt going to be as long.

I just want to go back because I'm sooo bored here. I can't just walk over to my friends, I have a sucky job at the mall, and I just feel like I have not much to do here and I hate being not so busy. I should relax :P but I don't know how

Yeah I hear ya. For me, I get depressed if I have nothing to do rather than when I am too busy. I'd rather be too busy. At least I feel productive that way.

me me me

I feel like Harry, how he would rather live at Hogwarts

i have 3 1/2 weeks off... but i'm heading bak down to college early... i'll be visiting friends in NJ & penn before heading down to DC... and THANK GOD... i'd die if i had to be here for more then three weeks
