I posted in here stating that I'll most likely be going to UCSC, but I have decided to attend UCR. It has been nice posting in here with you guys, though. Have fun and success at UCSC!

aw. some of you chose ucr over ucsc? :/

well good luck though!

Good luck at ucr!!! I am sure you will love it there =]

Beatchick, someone told me those shuttles stopped running a long long time ago. Or was I misinformed?

I think there was one that would take you between campuses for the day and that one has probably stopped, but we were told at one of the presentations (I think when I went up to SC a couple weeks ago, or it could have been at Cal Day last weekend, I forgot) that there is a weekend connection. But I'll check it out, thanks, cuz I really want to visit Santa Cruz!

There is a BART connector out of SC Friday and into SC Sunday.

Other than that, you can take Cal Train -> 17 express into SC

I have a question about the buses: are they really free, or are the costs added onto your tuition cost?

Pretty setting, but a tad too quirky for me. Plus I wanted the big time college experience.

I believe the buses are free, you just need to show your student ID card.

aw. many of you are backing out. :(

The trees shall miss them.

I might have to back out too; my parents are still a little touchy about me moving far away. I got 3 days...

No!!!!!! don't back out!

come on guys!!! don't leaveeee!!!

Where is your banana slug spirit?

I am already planning out my decorations and stuff for my dorm room..

no worries, i am also studying.. hehe senioritis sucks. =p

I will probably find out my fate by tommorow, if not tonight. Wish me luck.

Good luck. Where would you go if you don't attend ucsc?

CSULB. Ordinarily, this wouldn't be so bad, but its too late to get housing there. I would have to commute about an hour each way :(

The campus is "sexy." The setting seems like your in...i don't know Yosemite, just without the waterfalls. I went on the tour the other day and the tour guide promoted ucsc real well. The pass no pass classes are still around and you can take up to 25% of your classes with this style, which is really beneficial if your into science and not English.
The tour guide also stated how the colleges on campus are considered a community within a community, which is real cool because it can be considered your "home" with 300-400 other people.

I was very impressed with the campus and its chill attitude, although i got into UCI and UCD, I think i'll have a better learning atmosphere at UCSC.

LETS GO SLUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I think I'm in the clear. What a relief...

^ are you heading to ucsc then? :D
