So who's going to Andover

lets make a list for people who decided to go to andover!!!

:) I am class of '12 btw

go big blue!

Class of '13
GO BIG BLUE!!

class of '13. There’s facebook group for class '13, boarder56. Have you joined in? 6 members as of yesterday.

Class of '13 here.

benevolent4them, why did I think you were going into 10th grade? Must’ve been that someone on CC told me so.

TIGER is going to andover. he will be in the class of '12.

cool how was the spring visit???

Hi, new user, and I’m still deciding between SPS, Exeter, Andover, and Milton (was rejected at Choate and Deerfield)

I went to the Andover and the revisit was great I liked it alot and my parents as well

Nah watertester, I’m an 8th grader right now. Go big blue!

do you think principalviola will let us know his decision at all?

Class of '11!

I even had a question answered on that online panel as well =)

thingslost, WE30 and SoontoBoard were accepted to Andover according to the Master list of prior posts. Wonder if they have made their decisions.

I’m joining the Class of 2012.

Over 500 applicants, about 100 accepted.
I feel special.

Go big blue!

And Archetype, go Andover. Why? It’s better. And Milton’s 50% day so I feel like it’d empty out which was my main reason for not going, and bad science building.

speaking of which, I was told that 11th grade is most selective - about 10%. TomTheCat, you should be very proud of yourself!

Class of '12!!!

My daughter will be in the class of '13. She’s very excited and wearing her new PA hat everywhere she can, even here in GA.

Watertester: I wasn’t sure your son would be heading to PA after reading your revisit experiences. What was the deciding factor, if I may ask?

He actually had his mind pretty set on Andover even before the revisits. Although the revisit didn’t go perfectly (partly because of his high expectations and the comparison with an impressive revisit the day earlier), it didn’t change his mind. It’s hard to name one deciding factor. I guess he is a little “full of himself” :), believing he’s among the best and should be in a best school, which is Andover.

Watertester, about your post on page 1 - thanks, these days I have been giving myself many the pat on the back =)

And once again, props to your son for the Tang Scholarship - I guess he and I will get to meet at the Tang Scholars’ dinner with Mr. Tang!

So who is going to be class of '12???

Oh my God, new froshes. That’s so surreal… before you know it, 2010 will be marching into the chapel for the first day of Senior Year… :)
