So who's nervous?

So um...who all is as nervous as I am? Even though most of us by the time we find out about Harvard will have gotten into other schools (hopefully, how bad would it be if it was down to Harvard or community college next year?), I think we'll all just be alittle bit nervous. How are you guys all dealing with it? I'm eating an extraordinary amount of Yoplait yogurt, i find it helps, and I highly recommend the mixed berry flavor :-).

I'm nervous but I think I'll probably get rejected, but I'm trying to not let it get to me. Well I'm already admitted to UCLA and Berkeley (my back ups =]) and I got waitlisted at Stanford....(-_-)...so yeah and music is my escape.....I need to cut down on the carbs. xD

everyone.

i'm finding distractions where ever possible. huge ultimate frisbee game tomorrow with the other ivy applicants at my school, watching movies, anything. i haven't been able to focus for the last week.

Harvard feels like a longshot even if I get in just because of the price tag. But tonight I have Guitar Hero and Halo 3 to keep me occupied.

um, their fin aid program is one of the world's best. price should not be an issue for anyone.

dwindlelights, I am in the same situation as you.

I was accepted by UCLA and UC Berkeley.
Then, I was waitlisted by Stanford.

I'm five for five right now, and I have this gut feeling that my stroke of luck can't possibly hold out much longer.

Oh, and my anxiety has been channeled into the Wii, particularly the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Just about beat the game, too. Now if only I had the motivation to finish my homework before Spring Break ends...

I got rejected from Duke and Stanford. yikes!!

I'm worse off then you guys. Into UCLA and Berkeley, rejected at Stanford. But I did get Uchicago.

how are you worse off than me??!?!?!!!

For everyone else as nervous/neurotic as me:

<a href="http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/customcounter.html?month=3&day=31&year=2008&hour=17&min=00&sec=00&p0=43%5B/url%5D">http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/customcounter.html?month=3&day=31&year=2008&hour=17&min=00&sec=00&p0=43</a></p>

^ha, i've been doing that mentally since march began.

I'm with Jen98, 4 for 4 so far, and this luck CANNOT keep up, not when the schools I'm waiting on are Georgetown, Tufts, HYCol.

gah

Not too nervous, I'm pretty happy with getting into NU, so Harvard is more for the excitement of finding out an Ivy.

four for four as well...but i can't imagine getting into more than one of my top three.

I'm 3 for 3, but does my local state university count? 23+ ACT automatically admitted :-). Got in Berkeley and Yale, waiting on Princeton and Harvard. Gosh, everybody on this thread is 100% so far or close, and most of us will probably be rejected from Harvard...And if I get waitlisted, I'm pretty much screwed too because my second semester senior grades are pretty awful ;-).

How did you find out about Yale?

Well I got accepted into Florida Atlantic University, University of Miami, University of Florida and Cornell University ( Likely Letter which means yes )

Waiting on

Yale University
Harvard University

-- Probably none of those are going to happen =(

I applied EA to Yale, I wish i would've gotten a likely letter, don't they pay for your airfare and stuff to visit?

I got into Cal and LA but flat-out rejected from Stanford. Ughh I hate Monday

Yeah, same here...flat out rejected from stanford. Waitlisted at WUSTL. That's OK though, my top choice was Williams, and they accepted me early-write, so I should be all right when I get rejected from Harvard.
