<p>After five rejections today.. I hope the financial aid works out! My parents are quite elitist and would manage to pay for an ivy or some big name (CMC is a great school but no doubt the name is a little obscure) liberal arts college, but they just despise CMC :-( (I didn't want to go to any of the schools I was rejected from and CMC is my ABSOLUTE favorite school). If I don't get a fairly significant grant its probably going to be UMD for me.</p>
<p>CMC was one of my top choices, and I was thrilled when I got in. Unfortunately I don't qualify for FA; and didn't receive any merit scholarships - VERY disappointing! I just can't justify CMC at twice the cost of UCLA (another one of my top choices, and probably my final selection), so I've just finished filling out the form declining enrollment.</p>
<p>Bye Bye CMC - hopefully my spot will go to someone on the waitlist.</p>
