So who's ready for their scores?

Since the scores for the ACT are coming out Monday, I thought I would post this thread to see how many people on CC are ready for their scores. I know I am; even though the wait is less than the SAT, two-and-a-half weeks is just too long.

I’m very anxious to get my scores.

I’m not nervous/anxious, but I would like to see them. I’m just hoping that I did better than I did on the SAT >_<, but I have a feeling that’s not the case.

I am hoping for an increase. I have been taking the ACT since the December session, first time I made a comp of 19 with writing of comb of 18. Feb. a 19 no writing. I had no preparation at all. The April session I studied since I received Feb scores. I am hoping for an increase of at least +4 comp.

What do you think? Too high?

I’m anxious.

A +4 in comp isn’t too much compared to my wanting a 34 from a 29

Yeah, I’m looking for a 33-34 (soph) from a 30 (fresh). Monday can’t come soon enough! Can’t wait to see people posting scores!

I’m so nervous about my scores. It’s my first time taking it and I’m really hoping I get at least a 30.

Do you know if most people get their scores the 25th? Because it says that some people don’t get them the first day. Also, do they come out at 12:01am or later on in the day?

go to ACTstudent.org
log in
hit “view score report choices”

If your status is “tested” you are getting it at 12:01 am CST on the 25th.
If your status is “registered” you might have to wait, or it can change soon.

I went from a 29 to a 32 with no prep so you all definitely have attainable goals :D. I just don’t want my score to decrease. I had planned on studying for this test, but life got in the way and I had other things that were more important.

Im slightly nervous. I’m very confident i got a 30+ but im not so confident that i got a 34+. There’s a decent chance i got a 34 and i really hope i did so i dont have to retake the act. If i get a 32, probably retaking in june, 33, maybe not, 34+, definitely not.

so nervous… and the 25th is my birthday so it’ll either make or break my day haha! it was my first time taking it (no prep) so i’m hoping for at least a 32. pretty sure math killed any chance of that happening though. ):

DD got scores in the mail today! So happy to not have to wait until Monday! She did not take the essay portion, as she had done that before.

Recieved my scores today! I went up a little. Composite 22 from a 19… :[

What!!!
I took the writing. sigh
and my mail is being held at the post office because I went on vacation.

I’m hoping for between a 32-35. First time taking it, sophomore, but I didn’t feel that it was too difficult. Reading was fairly straightforward, and the science was fairly easy (except that river section)

I’m ready and anxious, but a part of me knows that I’ll be crushed when I click the score report button and see a 15 comp. or something. =(

Also, people are saying that the writing portion brought their composite down? I was under the impression that it didn’t factor into your composite…?

The writing score does not affect your composite. You just get a combined English/Writing score, which colleges that require the Writing section will more than likely look at in place of your English score.

I am so ready for my score…
I just hope I got at least a 34.00 so I don’t have to take it anymore!

If I don’t get a 30 or higher, I’m going to be so humiliated because I got a 29 freshman year and I’m a junior now. This was only my second time taking it. I’m pretty sure I did well, but I hope I’m not being overconfident. This wait is killing me!

I got a 28 the first time taking it, and didn’t even finish the science section :frowning: becuase I had no clue how to pace myself, but on my recent test, I finished all the sections, so I am hoping for some higher scores :)
