So, who's thinking of retaking?

And how are you going to prepare?

I might, but I think the scores come out after the March registration deadline. I don’t think I’ll really study – besides preparing for the essay – now that I know what to expect.

I’ve already registered for March.

Just gonna do more practice tests.

I don’t know, there are some questions I’m iffy about but if I get above 2350 I’m not going to bother.

March test is always a difficult one. I would say May is the best time.

I’m a Senior btw. Does anyone know if I should register for it right now or register when I get my scores back?

Wait can seniors take the march sat or ferbuary act cuz i just took the sat today and am rushing it to privates cuz i beefed it up thx to proctors

Personally I would’ve preferred a hard math section… I made two careless mistakes which will probably cost me 40-50 points, while if the test was harder I’d probably get the same raw score with a reasonable curve…

^ isn’t this the last time that you’re allowed to take it before deadlines?
I was unaware that seniors could take it after January. ( well obviously you can take it but it wouldn’t be considered)

Seniors can take it after January only if they want to transfer to a top college after their freshmen year. There are many kids out there who struggle with the SAT and try to show improvement.

Hopefuleagle, you’re right. I didn’t even think of that.

I’m one of the kids just so you know. So I’m going to try practicing harder from here. But recently, my scores have been upward.

I plan on also taking it in May ( If I need to) and June ( also If I need to)

I’ll do my Last SAT 2 ( Math 2) During the October of My Senior Year.

Today was my first time; I didn’t want to fret about maxing out my scores before I’d sat for an actual exam. For the next time(april?) I have to work on writing more efficiently; I’m used to having 40 minutes to write a perfect essay. I also plan on using the Collegeboard SAT online course.
