Hmmmm....I was wondering about Simon Fraser, UBC, UToronto and York Uni in Canada. I know they're not McGill, "the Harvard of Canada", but I was thinkin' they would give the same "oomph" as top-tier US universities without the same load of cash. Lah, oh well.

The number of universities in Canada are, I think, much less compared to America's 3,000+ (community colleges, colleges, vocational schools, universities). Kinda make sense statistically for the 3/4 of the best uni's to be average joes/janes, right? headache

I bet you anything that a graduate of harvard makes alot more cash than a grad of Mcgill. My friend who adamantely opposes american uni's and claims that they are utter wastes of money, does not understand the concept of paying lots now, and reaping the rewards later. of course, i'm also positive that his just jealoused that he isn't applying down south since he can't afford it. (this sounds bad, but this guy is actually my oldest friend)

but for me, i just feel awkward going to the same universit and get the same education as someone who's achievements are half of my own.

these days i have become so much obsessed about us colleges tht I want to be there anyhow... so trying to work hard though screwed up the SATs today ;(

cool..well I am having my A levels this week, I will only be free on the 22nd, will start then, have 1 month till the RD deadline.. cant do anything now. you?
