<p>can i gt full rides somewhere?? get into an ivy ?? harvard??</p>

<p>where are u from?!</p>

<p>Your SATs are very good but certainly below ivy league standards.
Being an international student will make it even harder, especially if you require financial aid.
For a full ride your SATs are way too low (an "average" college requires 1500+/1600). There are a couple of colleges that might give you full tuition scholarships though. Have you tried the college search engine at collegeboard.com? You can search for schools that specifically offer aid (need or merit based) to internationals.</p>

<p>Im not gona give your 'chances' or anything because i dont believe in them lol but..
there was this guy with 1050 SATs (m+w) and he had lovely ECs- kinda like yours (actually.. a bit better i think sorry hehe) and he required nearly full aid. he got rejected at every single school he applied to (eg Duke, williams c, purdue, uva,etc..) except 1. And that 1 school accepted him 1st april. that school was harvard. and he got all the money required.
He's thread is on CC somewhere - it's like 7 pages long i think. He first posted that he was getting rejection letters day after day. and then at the end, before april1st, 9 schools rejected him. And he thought he had no chance at harvard. but he did :)
Yeah..</p>

<p>Harvard.hmm. interesting</p>

<p>Imagine the happiness of that fellow...</p>

<p>Hey........I dont think that ur SAT scres r ''below'' ivy standards....coz I hav seen many get in ivies with that kinda scores....just a thing to note....u need to be all round in ur app........thats it!!!!!!!......</p>

Yeah.."</p>

<p>That is happy story</p>

<p>Don't believe those "fairy-tale" stories of people getting into ivy schools with SAT below 2000. Those are only for US URMs or athletes.
Basketball players get into Duke with 950 of SAT.
Admission standards for International students are much higher. For example, in Northwestern the 25-75% for SAT math is 670-760, while for Internationals is 720-790.</p>

<p>That is very true. For every person who gets accepted into an Ivy with a 1050 SAT, there are 50 others who did not get accepted. </p>

<p>That doesn't mean you shouldn't apply at an Ivy when your SATs are a little low, far from it. But it does mean you have to be realistic and keep other options in hand.</p>

<p>^^^ nice story can ya find the link</p>

<p>anyone else ???bump..</p>

<p>You can get into LACs but for the ivys , i think it's hard</p>

<p>well said, NBZ</p>
