alright, so, i can't really remember if i've done this before, but if i have it was a few months ago and i now have a few more stats so try to forgive me for being annoying.

basically i'm going to be a senior and i have some ideas as to where i'm applying, but it's merely just speculation.
here's my basics stats for your reference [really sorry it's like a freaking novel]:

academics..
i go to a rural public school of ~1500
GPA: 3.9 (UW) 4.6 (W)
top 5%
2 APs junior year (Chem & Language) and 5 senior year (Bio, Physics, Environ Science, Calc, Lit)
besides AP US Hist, AP US Gov't, and AP Music Theory I'll have taken all the AP/honors classes my school has to offer
will graduate from the natural science academy program at my school (you have to take 7 science classes and maintain a certain GPA in them)

test scores (blegh..)
SAT: 1320/1920 but like everyone always says, i'm taking it again
ACT: well, the first time i took it i took it without the writing (like an idiot) and got a 30, then i took it again and i got a 29 (i was rather angry).. but i did get a 10 on the essay which i was pretty excited about.
SAT Subject: Chemistry 720 (i'll eventually take the Match IIC one and maybe the spanish one?)
AP Tests: took the Lang one but i haven't got it back yet (though i probably won't submit it anyway)

ECs..
wind ensemble (9-12)
marching band (9-12)
-section leader (11,12)
soccer (JV 9,10; V 11,12)
academy of scholars (11,12)
volunteer at an art museum (11,12)

awards..
1st chair french horn all county band (9-11, 12?)
2nd chair french horn all district band (9-11, 12?)
auditioned for NC Honors Band (9,11, 12?)
a few random awards for band (9,11)
honorable mention for all-conference girls soccer team (11)
highest average awards for phys. science H and AP Language (11)

summers..
summer ventures in science & mathematics at App. State (10)
northwestern college prep program (11)

yeah so i'll probably major in some kind of SCIENCE, neuroscience looks especially good right now, but i'm rather fickle and indecisive so that will probably change.
- i would like to be near or in a big city but it's not mandatory
- anywhere from a somewhat small to a large pop. of students is fine
- i'd like a lot of diversity
- a neutral or more liberal college

alright, so, any help would be much appreciated and i'm very sorry my list of crap put you to sleep.
