<p>I love Arts and Sciences! It's so great, cuz basically it's like having a liberal arts education (say amherst or williams) but at the same time being at a large research university!</p>
<p>I'm glad everyone is enjoying themselves. I remember how exciting orientation week was for me last year.</p>
<p>It's great. Only my leg hurts so much :) I'm trying to walk as much as I can to get a feel for the place. And seriously, Ithaca is GORGES!!!</p>
<p>Wow you guys just made me depressed that I'm not going to be there till next year (gt) lol. O well hope you keep enjoying it! (At least I get a low cost year at a college near Boston).</p>
<p>Did anyone see Prof. Moss's lecture on power sleep? That was so cool!</p>

<p>Unfortunately, rumor has it that this is the last fall he's going to be teaching psych 101. I hope I get the class :-/</p>
<p>I tried to see the lecture on sleep but i got kicked out because it was too full :( they said it was a fire hazard...</p>
<p>Hahah, it was quite sad. There were two OL people running the whole thing. It literally took a half hour to get the extra people out of there.</p>
<p>Wait what it's his last year teaching it??? Is he that famous teacher with the whole famous Psych 101 thing???? I would be SOOOO disappointed because I'm not taking it at my other college freshman year so that I can have him next year (gt)...damn</p>

<p>YES! I got into Psych 101. Hah, and my faculty advisor was like, "Don't count on it..." :p</p>
<p>Edit: Oh, and how was everyone's Gatbsy discussion? Mine was really intense--everyone was participating and had something interesting to say! We ran out of time, unfortunately.</p>

<p>im a transfer living in cascadilla and its so awesome here. ive already been swimming in the gorges, sake bombing, and egoing to random parties. the people are so nice about it and its so weird that they dont charge.</p>
<p>also its weird that bars close at 1 and that people start going out at like 9 but i guess i'll get used to it.</p>
<p>Ummm...I don't know anything about that stuff, since freshman are pretty much not allowed to go there. My peer advisor said that they've really been getting more strict with the rules. She said a couple years ago, you would've seen everyone partying in the streets during orientation. Sounds crazy.</p>
<p>Mention if the essays were collected. I'm jealous of all of u psych people because it sounds like I won't get to take the class with that prof lol</p>
