So, your Semester Grades?

AP Gov: A+
AP Psych: A
Weight Training: Probably A
TA/Lab Tech: Credit
MESA schools/Principles of Engineering: A+
AP English Lit: A

and...

AP Calc BC... : C+

Yale's going to be so mad... ;)

4.0/4.667. I'm still val yay

Band: A
AP English Lit: A
Calculus: A- (.07% away from an A GAH)
Government: A
Spanish: A
Chemistry II: A
Physics: A

GPA: 3.80
Class Rank: 20/100 (our top 10% are all 3.95-4.0 unfortunately)

We have no A+'s :( I had 112% in Gov't and it's still out of a 4.0. The only AP we have, AP English Lit, also isn't weighted. The rest are the highest level we offer.

Chem II and Gov't were one semester, and thanks to my schedule I don't have enough time (travel + class time) to take local college classes. So this semester my schedule is pretty bare; I don't know what to do with all this time during school -_-

3.88/4.1.

4.86? 5.0? sigh This kind of thing happens when a school can have its own textbooks and curriculum. Grade inflation, that is.

My GPA is irrelevant since my school has a weird scale, but this semester was bad, I guess AP classes do take some adjustment. My first quarter was really bad but my second quarter was great.
Math: A+
Chem: A-
AP Euro: B+
AP Art History: B+
English: B+/A- (teacher won't give us the midterm back)
Latin III: B+ (I don't even want to talk about it)
Theology: A-

6 A's and 1 B (in calculus). I can't complain!

Gryffon, my son's grades look exactly like yours, except substitute college Chem for Calc BC. He is an early admit to MIT. You seem unconcerned - do you really think it's okay? Aren't you afraid of getting one of those letters asking you to "explain the circumstances?" What about the admission letter where they said "your admission is contingent..." Am I just paranoid?

Gryffon, had I scored .3% lower on my Calc BC exam, I would have had a C too. I was so close to being completely effed. But I got my exam results forever ago. We take them before Winter break.

Stupid Required Public Speaking Class - A
French 2AA/3/3AA - A
English Lang AP - A
Human Geography AP - A
Calculus AP BC - B
Art History AP -A
Chamber Orchestra - A

Orchestra isn't a real grade though. I was actually getting my wisdom teeth out while people were taking that exam.

GPA (just for this semester):
UW: 3.857 blah
W:5.428 blahhh out of 6

My over all GPA went up, but I don't know why, because this is what I get every single grading period, with the exception of one time with straight A's and one time with two B's (and they equal out). So now I have like 3.800. And My weighted is like 5.5 or something.

You know, Sophmore year wouldn't be THAT bad if I haven't missed like...12 days of school...

(Without the Weight)
AP Psychology - 4.0
Agriscience/Biotech 2 Honors - 4.0
Pre-AP English 2 Gifted Honors- 4.0
Chemistry Gifted Honors - 3.0
German 3 Honors - 4.0
Algebra 2 Gifted Honors - 3.2

My Unweighted went down but my Weighted went up.
From a 3.8/4.2 to a 3.733/4.5

Yay <3

I got a 3.9something for the semester.

GPA went from 3.67 to 3.72. Very very happy. =]

I'm not worried... I've heard reports of worse grades and admissions being fine with it... (well... maybe I'm just a little worried, but based on research, it's highly unlikely that they'd rescind just because one class is a C.... )

All Bs except A- in Freshman Bio and health.
But I already got in to 3 colleges so its whatever

all A's.

yay for a last minute rank boost.

4.0 UW and 4.7 W, lol. My school is silly.

I GOT A B IN PHYSICS!
Seriously, I'm destined to fail.
Are you serious? I've seen a person get a 0 gpa 2 weeks ago.
Yeah, I'm serious. I failed all my tests, didn't do any of my homework for a couple months and bsed the finals entirely.

3 A+s, 2 As, 1 B+, 1 C+

My school's gpa calculation is weird like no other, but it's a 4.79 and my cumulative is a 4.4, so this is good news. I hope my C+ in AP Calc BC doesn't absolutely slay me in admissions, my guidance counselor is well aware that some mistakes were made with my math tracking and addressed it in her rec already.

I HAVE STRAIGHT As FIRST SEMESTER!

Sorry. I'm so happy I could scream right now.

I did get a B in spanish first quarter and a B in english second quarter but that's not as important.

let's see

History: 99
Chem: 88
C++: 97
Algebra: 85 (she truncates grades, not rounds, not even for 89.9 T_T)
Latin: 99
English: 92

4.6 GPA out of 5.4

not good.

90 in us hist since 1945.
86 in hons chem
86 in psych
88 in trig.
