So You're Waitlisted...What Next?

Hallo! I’m waitlisted for Chem2A, and I’ve been reading these comments stating how we will have to attend classes and wait there…so does that mean we have to go to class the first day instruction starts (sept 23) and wait to see what happens? Thanks in advance!

yes
go to lecture as if you’re in the class
go to any lab slot you’re willing to be accepted into (at least i think this is how it works, i’ve never been waitlisted for chem, but i distinctly remember a bunch of people waiting outside my lab and almost making me late because i didn’t know my class was inside haha)

I think I read some old posts from last year that mentioned more chem sections being added. Hopefully that happens because I’m on the waitlist for chem too. What number on the waitlist are you?

I’m also on waitlist for Che 2A. I am on spot number 5.

I am also waitlisted for chem2a. Did you buy your textbook already? I was wondering whether I should buy the textbook yet since we’re not officially in the class.

Well… I think we are going to take the chem series anyways and the chem book covers from chem 2a to chem 2c if I am correct, so we might as well buy it?

hey! i’m #5 too!

Hey. I’m not sure which textbook to buy. On smartsite, Enderle said that the text Chem2a uses is General Chemistry - Principles and Modern Applications, 10th Ed, Petrucci et al. On Amazon there’s this textbook, but also one “with MasteryChemistry” that’s a bit cheaper. Do you think it matters which book I purchase? It seems like the content would be the same.

Thanks.
