So you've been suspended from a good school, what now?

Update:

Well, while I’m enjoying my spring break at home away from the drama, I recieve a letter on the day my flight is scheduled to return to school, that my appeal was denied and that now I have to be suspended unti next winter. well while im not going to moan and complain (since Im kinda happy), it saddens me that now I have to wait form my one transfer app to another school to come in and get a job. (well the actually transition isnt saddening its just the time) so anyway yeah i guess thats it, suspended from a decent school that I hate. oh well, i guess logic doesnt prevail at a logic-oriented school.

oh and dont worry, i will be using this time to “find myself,” I just wont be in misery

If I were you I would also use this time to try to understand why many people think you were in the wrong to mistreat someone else’s property and wrong to plagiarize. (Northstarmom is right: what you acknowledge doing is plagiarism.) In every one of your posts that I’ve read about these matters you’ve appeared to think you were justified to do what you did. I don’t expect you to change your mind about that, but if you don’t get why the school thinks you should be suspended and if you don’t get why many other people would agree, then you’re likely to find yourself running afoul of similar rules later on and getting punished then, too.

Magneto, logic did prevail at the school. What you did was blatant plagarism. You cheated, they suspended you. Very logical.

The sooner you acknowledge this and accept that you are being punished for doing something wrong the better off you will be.

You need to learn and grow from this. From your posts it seems you are not there yet.

I’m not going to support your move to copy some lab reports from your buddies, nor do I think the punishment was too harsh. I mean, really, if you’re going to copy anything, why a lab report conclusion? That’s so easy to do on your own and also so easy to catch; talk about being flat-out lazy man. However, I also wouldn’t take all this criticism your getting to heart. All these guys probably cheated once or twice before too, and take the opportunity to give you the talk about how wrong it is.

Seriously though, you guys are talking to him like he’s five years old and slightly ■■■■■■■■. I can guarantee you all cheated once in your life no matter how small it may have been, so lets not play the innocent card. He’ll figure it out, and if he doesn’t… he’ll become some super rich CEO because that’s how the world works.

+1

Agreed 100%

Hey its cool I half expected it from people on this site. To be honest, im actually not upset about it. this is a great opportunity. I know I did wrong, I accept responsibility and whatever punishment may be even though I may not agree with it. but Im ok now. I live and I learn just like everyone else on here who wants to give their self righteous replies. We all make mistakes since we’re human.

Wow at the punches thrown at the OP.
Is Walmart having a sale on soapboxes?

Its cool that people dont like me on here. I say what I want and thats that. In person, im actually a decent guy and Im actually pretty intellegent contrary to popular belief on here. But i mean, people are going to think what they want so there’s not much I can do there. If anything, Ill listen to the level headed people on here who make some sense at least.

But anyway. Im fine. thanks for having my back Gill and Woofles
