<p>When do we find out if we made the first cut?</p>

<p>That’s a very good question. Last year there was a pretty active chat going on around this time, but nothing this year. The website still says December 1st. I emailed them today and I’ll post if I hear anything back.</p>

<p>I received a response. They said that the semifinalists will be released in about two weeks.</p>

<p>I emailed everybody in the office and this is one of the other responses. </p>

<p>“Everyone should find out next week some time”</p>

<p>Like with college admissions, I think that late responses may have been a result of the delays from the hurricane. Sure they are in Atlanta, but remember that they extended the deadline? It could have some deadline, I’m sure people will post as soon as they hear (good news), as par usual.
You received two answers (two weeks and next week) because the two weeks referred to publicly listing on their website the semifinalist names. The semifinalists themselves will hear individually earlier (next week probably), so I’m sticking with knowing by Friday latest. Ideally tomorrow they will let people know. But since it’s a lot more work, I’ll be fine if not selected. (I don’t have literally thousands of service hours -___-) GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! :D</p>

<p>Do they notify everyone via email, even those not semi-finalists? Or if you don’t hear it means you aren’t selected?</p>

<p>I was looking through their website and I was able to find four of the pages of the Semifinalist application.</p>
