So...

I just wanted to get some input on this:

I'm thinking of applying to these college:

Reed College
Carnegie Mellon University
John Hopkins University
Occidental College
Skidmore College
University of Rochester
Trinity College (the Hartford, CT one)
Rutgers University (safety, as I'm a NJ resident)

Probably majoring in biology and going the pre-med route, but I'll apply undecided.

My "stats" are:

SAT I:
M:800
CR:720
W:770

I've taken the Math SAT II, and I'm relatively sure that I got above 700, but other than that I cannot say.

My GPA, however, is 3.3, so that weighs heavily on my resume.

In terms of extracurriculars, I'm taking the IB, so I have CAS to do. I've been participating in various Jazz bands, and more or less started one of the bands this year. I'm also working with a shelter for kids who have been effected by HIV/AIDS called CCDT.

So can anybody tell me my chances at any of these universities?

I think your chances are quite good ( everyone loves to hear this)
Reasonably, you can / should be able to get into these schools.

Thanks. :)

I was trying to be realistic in figuring out which colleges I’d have some chance at with this GPA.

If anybody else has a different opinion, please post it.
