How much does SOAR help with ED admissions?
Have any SOAR attendees gotten rejected from ED Rice?
I think the better question would be does participating in SOAR help at all in the long run? I think either way by doing ED your chances already increase and if that is your top school. I did SOAR this year too and have been wondering the same thing although I panicked and decided to do regular decision. Even to think about it now won’t help as everyone is different and I am sure people have not gotten in before. Good luck and I hope you get in!
If you got into SOAR, Rice wants you. I would be completely shocked if you don’t get in if you went to SOAR
Also, acceptance rate for SOAR was well below Rice’s admissions acceptance rate.
If it helps I went to SOAR and was accepted ED through Questbridge. Many of the other kids who did so were SOAR attendees as well. If you attend SOAR i would say you will definitely get in. No university like Rice would waste resources on students they weren’t planning on admitting.
