Hi I'm a current female freshman who plays Varsity soccer, varsity winter track, and varsity spring track. I know I'm still young, but I have interest in participating in soccer or/and track in college. (I know both is rare). I go to a group 4 school in new jersey, so competition is quite tough.
800m- 2:27
1600m- 5:28
This spring I received 2nd team all conference for the 800m and 1600m.
I play for a summer club team for soccer, plus a spring team, and my highschool team. My unweighted average for the year was probably a 94-96 in pretty high level classes. Any advice on how to be noticed by potential competitive colleges like Duke, UVA, and other good acadedmic/athletic schools?
Also, I'm volunteering at HUP over the summer and attending the college prep UPenn soccer camp in the summer, if that matters(:

Just keep doing what you’re doing - keep your grades up and train hard. Junior year of HS is when the recruiting starts to get serious.

okay thank you! I was wondering when to wonder about stuff pertaining about that and what to do

If you still want to play both sports by the time you apply to college, you might want to consider smaller liberal arts colleges (LACs) like Pomona, Claremont McKenna, etc. which are Div. III.

For schools like Duke, Div. I, you would be recruited for one sport only. Generally, it is easier to be recruited for track (than soccer) as your talents are easily identified with FAT times, state championships and regional races. If a school needs to fill your event (look for graduationg seniors on the college roster when you are applying) your chances go up.
