<p>Soccer is nowhere nearly as important as Football or Basketball and not quite as important as Hockey and Baseball, but as far as team sports go, it is the fifth most important sport in the US. Making it to the Semi-finals is a big deal. I don't think we will be able to beat Akron (they beat us 7-1 earlier this year), but just making it to the semis is a great accomplishment.</p>

<p>I went to a game this year… our “soccer complex” is sad</p>
<p>Michigan has some filthy freshman… Fabio Pereira and Sooney Saad (who has a brother on the team also). If the football team doesn’t improve, I can at least look forward to watching great soccer team if I get in.</p>
<p>I look at it like this. If we have a really good Men’s soocer team, that means the players on our Club team are better. If the players on our club team are better then the players in the IM league Independent Men’s A must be better. If these IM players our better my IM team’s undefeated record in the Ind A lg regualr season is more impressive and it makes us a better IM team.</p>
