Social Atmosphere

So ummm, what are people like at USC. I have gotta into U of M and USC. Now I know the people at U of M are weird and quirky, I have seen it first hand. I don't want to be around those guys. I like the people at USC, its the sun, I stay in California, beautiful weather and people. But coming straight from you guys at USC, are the people at USC a bunch of douchy jocks? Or are they as nice and accepting as anyone. Cause seriously, I remember the few short years when I went to a private catholic school that was crazed with hot rich slutty girls and as awesome as it was for the first few weeks, you soon realize it is also filled with buff rich ******* guys.

Seriously, type in U of M into google images and type in USC into google images. Safe Search ON.

I mean I know its reputation among the ignorant is that it is university of spoiled children, but are the people still as super friendly as they would be at some wacky liberal arst college.

Firstly, that’s a pretty harsh thing to say about U of M. EVERY university has a fair share of a$$holes, jocks, etc. And yes, of course, there are plenty of super friendly people at USC, as there would be also at U of M.

I’m pretty sure you’ll get every kind of stereotype at any kind of college. I wouldn’t worry too much. It’s LA! Who can’t you find there? haha

Go to Venice Beach. :o

I hear disneyland is sueing them for the title of “happiest place on earth”

USC is a very friendly campus. For all types of kids. Not everyone who attends is wealthy.

Both are large schools, you’ll find just about everyone.

does anyone know how the party scene is at usc? is it a party school? what’s it’s social rep?

USC is very social. I suggest you compare what you want to study at U of Michigan vs. the program at USC and then decide. Also, compare cost if that is important to you or your parents.
