<p>there will be many ppl out there who parties as hard as you do or perhaps even harder. a lot of ppl here are overachievers in the sense that they not only party hard but also study hard too. honestly, if you cant find a group of ppl at Cal that can hang out and chill with, u can definitely lose your hope of finding any at other colleges. ppl here worry about their academics/careers as well as their social life (they both are interconnected in a sense).</p>
<p>‘work hard, play hard’ is practically the motto of my life and i’m going to be at cal in the fall.</p>
<p>I think, as a general rule, Cal students look to SF less than you might expect, considering how close Berkeley is to SF and how easy it is to get there on BART. Generally speaking, undergrad social life takes place in Berkeley, for most students. Generally.</p>
