I believe hinman is pretty good in terms of distance from the buildings. They also have both corridor and suite styles as well. I am kind of surprised that the dorm registration is coming up so soon in April, especially when there are a good number of people who are still trying to identify which school is the best fit for them.

Songbird10, Hinman is suites only. CIW has both corridor and suites.

Huh, thanks for telling me eastcoast101…the admissions lady must have gotten mixed up =/ Thanks!

I visited on Saturday also and it was awesome. The people were so friendly, even the people who weren’t ambassadors were amazing. One girl paid for my food because a cashier couldn’t accept my card and I had no cash. The SOM academics are AMAZING. The dorms were really nice too. I loved Newing but it’s a little too far for me so I’ll probably live in Mountainview or CIW. Overall, great day! I’m still deciding though

I’m deciding between New Paltz, Stony Brook, Ithaca, and Binghamton…Idk i’m nervous about choosing a school. I want a school with a good social life!

My D is deciding between, Binghamton, Ithaca, Scranton, and UConn (haven’t visited yet, going soon). She feels the same way, she wants a good school with a good reputation but also a good social life. She is so afraid of making a wrong decision.

I hear Binghamton out of all the schools has a good social life, It definitely a school where if u want to go out with friend on weekends and enjoy urself u will, but if u want to study on a weekend then that will also be easy to go about. The only reason i’m leaning towards binghamton because it provides me with the most socially, academically, and maturity! But i’ve heard good things about the social life at binghamton.
