Social life at Columbia

<p>wow, Soho, what a priviledge. I'm going for a totally diferent area, but it is still good to know that the university is so good in so many areas of knowlegde. So you're not just working with a Nobel laurate, but you're actually with the latest laurate!!!! Man, were you there the day the prize was announced? What's the atmosphere at a University when somebody gets the Nobel? I guess you work at the Washington Heights Campus, am I right?
And how's Dr. Axel in his personal treatment</p>

<p>there was small buzz here and there, couple of university-wide emails, some website announcements. Undergraduates knew his name and parents were probably even more excited. I think I was still busy moving in the day it was announced since I didn't get to hear about it until a few days after.
And yes, I am working at the Washington Heights campus. I'm right here right now actually.
he's a wonderful, smart, and refreshingly funny guy. i look forward to the summer.
