I went for a visit and loved the campus and the small town and really just everything about the school, however I am wondering about the social life there because just based on the feel I got it does not seem to have too much of one. Wondering if anyone could shed light on this, if I’m dead wrong or if I’m spot on, or anywhere in between.
P.S
By social life I mean like parties, alcohol, etc.
If you visited this past weekend, it was Self Selection Night on Friday which was a huge social event that is essentially impossible to miss, though if you’re not in an eating house or fraternity (I mean, you are a prospective student), it probably is not nearly as fun. If you came here Saturday, I don’t think there was much going on and since pledging has started, the social scene dies down a lot for those that are independent. If you visit later, especially in April, you’ll get a much more active social scene.
