Social life/party scene at Boston College?

Ive heard such mixed things…some people say that it’s very hard to go to parties because they get shut down so fast and there’s a really strict alcohol policy. Others say that there’s always something fun going on and somewhere to go at night. So what is the party scene like, really?

why did you start a second thread on the same topic?

It’s actually his 4th thread. He posted only four times on CC and all four of his posts ask only this identical question.

@zobro11:
Is this the most important thing you’re looking for in a college?
How will the answer you get affect your decision making?

Just use niche…

@zobro11‌ Mixed responses absolutely don’t surprise me. It depends on whether you’re a guy or girl. This isn’t uncommon for a lot of colleges- especially those who lack in Greek life like BC. Girls, for the most part, have much better first year experiences than guys because they are more “in demand” at upperclassmen parties. It’s not to say that it’s that hard to find something to do, but you definitely have to make a conscious effort at times, especially if you’re a guy.

Zo, given that the party scene is important enough to you to start 4 threads on it, here’s a suggestion. Search for the top party schools in the country. Focus on the 3 or 4 that are the highest rated. Sacrifice your liver to college, remember that you had a great time and don’t worry about your education. That’s not a priority at this point for you. Seriously, grow up. Unless you’re at BYU or a service academy, you’ll be able to find a party.
