Social life question?

At USC, do you have to be in a frat to party? I want to go to USC and be able to have a good time, but I am not sure if I would want to join a frat. Can you go to frat parties if you aren't in a frat, and are there other parties besides frat parties?

Thank you

No, you don’t have to be in a fraternity to party hard. Plenty of other organizations host parties and whatnot. And you can go to fraternity parties if you aren’t in one, however you have to know a brother or two in it, and be put on the guest list beforehand (assuming its a register). But I always say check out fraternity rush and see how it is. It could surprise you, and you could find a group of guys you really like.

Don’t sweat it. Especially in the fall and football season, there will be numerous party options, starting with freshmen orientation. I found some of my first friends at orientation and, along with my roomies and new classmates, I had plenty of invites. Be friendly, above all else. If you go to USC, have fun and don’t get too drunk your freshman year…:-)
