Social Life

What's the social life like at St. Joe's? Do most people stay on the weekends or go home? Also is St. Joe's a dry campus?

SJU offers over 100 different clubs and organizations. These vary among service organizations, athletics (varsity, club, and intramural), performance organization, special interest groups (such as the Asian Student Association and student government), along with Greek life (about 12% of students participate).

SJU also offers free and cheap activities on campus and through out the city on the weekends. We are only about two stops on the R5 (Overbrook Station) train into center city, so it’s easy to find something to do if you are looking to venture off campus.

For more information on student activities, please check out their web page.
Hope this helps!

You’ll find that most of the kids who go to Saint Joes live very close so there are always gonna be people who go home A LOT. but, there’s also a ton of people who stay, so its not really anything to worry about…and i have no idea if its a dry campus…probably though. Campus security is pretty annoying in the very beginning of the year but it settles after a month or so
