One of the main reasons why Villanova is the 3rd school on my list is because i heard the social life isn't so great and RA's and the adminstration can be really restricting. I want to go to a good school but have a good time at the same time. Any current students want to comment on the social life, particulary freshmen year?

yeah wondering the same thing. its definetly in my top 3 schools to go to along with bc and lehigh but im sortve worried about the social life. ive heard of the nickname villanofun and i definetly want to have tons of fun at tons of parties at college. if i hear anything from a good source ill post on here. please do the same!

yeah ill do the same.....lehigh is in my top 3 as well and its kind of hard to beat the parties up on the hill

look at my post in the thread below. I think its pretty awesome there as I have a couple friends and cousins that go there. Its always a good time and Im glad I now get to be a part of it

hey guys im a freshman at villanova and i love it. ive been home for break for two days and i already cant wait to go back. it can sometimes be hard to find a party, because there are no frat houses on campus, but there are alot of good parties over on west campus and off campus. luckily our RA is pretty chill, and we've been able to have parties in our room without any problem, but i know some RAs are pretty strict. Some people do call it villanofun, but i would disagree. I think it really depends on who you're friends with and how fun you choose to make it.

How's the diversity?

yeah im a freshman too and i agree with novagirl. parties are able to be found. going into the city is a standard way to have a good time. my RA is actually pretty awesome, he's lax about everything. as for diversity, i'm a minority. i have no trouble. i absolutely love it. socially, it's amazing. you'll always have a good time.
