<p>I was recently accepted to Purdue, and I was thinking about attending. I am deciding between Purdue and UConn..and..I dunno.</p>
<p>So..what is the social life like at Purdue? (compared to UConn, if you are familiar with UConn) Are there a lot of parties? What's the drug scene like?, ect.</p>
<p>I don't know a thing about UConn, but at Purdue there is a huge social scene. Anytime you have 40,000 young adults on one campus there is bound to be a ton to do and there is.</p>
<p>As far as drug and alcohol scene, I don't know if you are for or against. But I do know that whether you are straight or a partier, there is always a ton to do. My son is straight and is never bored, he loves it there. He also says there are a lot of parties, he simply chooses not to go to them.</p>
<p>Purdue isn't the same type of party school as that college in Bloomington, but we have our share of parties, there is always something to do so rather you're a partier or not.</p>
