Well, I was thinking about my music... And I asked three kids from boarding school and the general census was that "Pop" was the dominant type of music.

So my questions:
If I walked the hallway of certain boarding schools what music would I hear?(Just list the school)
What bands are popular among boarding school children(I know everyone has their own opinion, but I am just asking for maybe what is on your son/daughter/your iPod or the average BS student)?
If I walked into boarding school what sport would most people be interested in?(I know Kent has amazing crew and Deerfield has Lacross so besides obvious things)

I just want to make the change from HS to BS(If I do this) to be easy and I want to learn about the BS social scene before I pursue it farther.

im guessing the music is just like the people..its not gonna be the same...think bout it there r pple ther from around the country and world

lol idk tell u more in 38 days

Yeah, like bballprep said, people are going to be different and so are their music tastes. Students are accepted based on diversity and what they can offer to the school, not because they are all generic, cookie-cutter students. You just have to be confident about what you like and accept what others do too. I doubt it would make much of a social difference if you listened to more indie or classical or foreign songs than pop, for example.

What intrigue said.

Although I imagine that there would be less pop music. crosses fingers I hope that there is very little pop music. My ears have not yet healed from hearing so much (extremely profane) rap at my school.

George was half lucky in the 7th HP book getting his ear cut off. If the rap scene follows me to boarding school I will have to follow his trend 2x's.
