I am interested in Bentley but the social scene kind of worries me. I’ve heard there isn’t much to do and since a lot of students are from Massachusetts they go home on the weekends. I’m not really a partier, but I just want to make sure there would be fun people and plenty to do. How is the town around it too?
My DD is a freshman at Bentley and loves the school. We live 1500 miles away from Bentley and I have yet to hear her say the social life boring. She has made a lot of friends of MA and most of them stay on campus during the weekends. As she puts it, work hard M-F play hard on the weekend. I ask her the other day if she thinks her decision to attend Bentley was right for her; her response was “this is one of the best decisions of my life”.

I think it really depends what you are comparing the social scene to…
Every bit as social as the NASCAC schools with quick and easy access to Boston. More fun than peer colleges.
