I am very interested in BOCO for musical theatre and I think it is a great school, from what I have researched and such. I have noticed that there are not a lot of people that go to BOCO because its a conservatory and all, and I know it isn’t some huge party school or anything but, does that mean that everyone knows each other in the school because it’s very small? I just haven’t heard anyone really comment on the social part of the school.

It is what you make it. The school is small but the city of Boston has more college kids than any other city in the US (about 250,000). My daughter went there and she came from a school where she was the President of her class with a graduating class off over 750 kids. So the ability to socialize was important for her as well.

Boco also uses Northeastern’s cafeteria and gym so there is plenty of opportunity to mix. She went to Red Sox games, college football and hockey games all the time. Beside Boco, she has good friends from Harvard, Northeastern, BU, BC, MIT, Emerson and Berkeley.

Again, it is what you make it.

Alright, Cool! thanks :]
