So, how fun is Delaware?
How is the campus life? What about the city?
What do students do usually?

I am very curious!

Bumppppp no one??

Hey there, I’m currently a freshman at Delaware, there is soooo much to do. The campus life is great, always people outside when it’s nice out and always something to do. The town basically is part of campus, with Main Street being big part of the campus life. When it comes to weekends, Delaware is top-notch. There will always be something to do on the weekends, and I have yet to have a boring one.

Sounds great! Hows the academics?
May i ask you what major youre in?

My daughter is having a great time socially, and is even a little sick of being home for spring break right now. There is a ton of stuff to do all the time, Main Street has plenty of restaurants and, may I say, (gently and respectfully, of course) that the student body of UD is a very fit and fine group of young people. That was one of the first things my D noticed when she arrived on campus to visit.

Just want to add that my DD is having a great time at the “concerts” that come to campus - not all music, but also comedians, MTV, etc. Except for next week’s concert (which is actually being organized by students) they are all pretty inexpensive. I heard St. Patty’s Day was fun (but did not ask for and did not receive details).

She loves having Amtrak on campus. Has already gone down to DC to visit friends. It’s a 20 min walk from her dorm (Rodney) to the Amtrak station.

Sorry for the late response. I’m a political science major here.
