How would you all, who have spent considerable amounts of time at these schools, describe the social scene in general. I know its a rather vague question with many possible answers, but I'm talking about like what the social pulse of each campus is like. Is the party scene more of a social gathering atmosphere, more of an all out party come stumbling back the the dorm room at 4am, or anywhere in between. I know the locations of these schools are very different, but I have heard similar things about the type of social life at each respective campus and would be interested in the major differences that may exist between them.

Here's what I would say:

Yale:

-decent amount of frat parties each weekend (thursday-saturday)
-Toads dance club on wednesday nights and saturday nights
-thursday bar nights (most bars are open)
-many room parties (common rooms are great)

Overall: There is a definite party scene at Yale. You can pretty much go to a frat, host a room party, or go to a club or bar whenever you feel like it. Partying will last for as long as you want (2am, 3am)....Everyone is chill and the parties are not exclusive....Also, there are plenty of other fun things to do like go to a play (almost every weekend), go to an a cappella show, improv show, or just stay in a watch a movie or play video games

Princeton:

The "street" is the big party scene. Everyone pre-games the street and then goes there are gets more drunk. There are drinking games there, good music, and new people to meet. Yet, these clubs are very exclusive and it is hard to get into them. Most parties center around this more elitist street scene.

-Thurs and Sat = big party nights

haha. Actually, the clubs are MUCH more open than what CC makes them out to be. The majority of clubs are open to anyone with a Princeton ID. A couple of clubs have nights where passes are required. These passes, however, are quite easily obtained.
