Social Scene for Transfers

you guys are a bunch of creepos... lol. see what you have to do is observe where she usually sits or try to arrive to class after her. then you sit behind her in class. after that, tell her you missed class and ask her if you could borrow her notes really quick or if she has an extra pencil wtvr. if she seems nice you can ask her what her name is after class and ask if u guys could study together or if she knows of a good place to eat since your new to UCSB... wtvr works.

hahaha damn this thread is funny. I think you guys are overthinking these situations. Good techniques though haha

bsally --- but that's just the long way around. it's too classic and i know quite a few girls that don't want to "ruin the friendship."

it's a sad tale.

this "ruin the friendship" bs is just a nice way to say youre too ugly for me... most of the time anyways

step 1. know what you want. a girl friend or just a female friend.

step 2. let you intentions be known if you are looking for a gf so you dont waste your time being friends when you want more.

step 3. follow my technique. my technique is for lazy people because you only have to do it once. no wasting time making eye contact with every girl you find cute. say something witty once and make the whole class you who you are. or just do something unique- in my case, i always bring my bike into the class room and im the only one who does that.

Boy, have I got that nailed down.

I think it's just about being friendly. Also, I think girls have to smile or something. It's very very rare that eye contact and a smile won't get a smile back.

Should've titled this thread "hopelessly romantic"

Consider: starting a conversation.

you guys are pathetic. everyone knows the best way to pick up a girl is to smile at her, stick out something in your hand, and ask "excuse me does this smell of chloroform?

This is the only reason I would want to work at UCB Admissions Office...so I can go around community colleges picking up girls left and right :D

hotelmoscow --- hahahahahaha. that is genius.
