<p>How do the social science programs at hopkins fare comparing it to other institutions? I'm mainly interested in Economics, Polysci, and possibly philosophy. Is it easier to get into JHU by aiming for these majors compared to engineering or Med?</p>
<p>You don’t apply to majors, other than BME. Your application has to show that you actually have an interest in these programs and you’d be a good fit with the school. If your entire application points to someone who wants to study neuroscience and go to medical school, listing a social science major will only hurt your chances. But no, it is not “easier” to get in by listing a social science major.</p>
