Does anyone else suck at talking?

Not really.

Why not?
.

Well, clarify. Talking to people in general? Talking to boys? Talking to your friends?

talking like one on one with people?

or

talking in public as in speeches?

or

Simply talking in general?

Hey no fair me duh... you beat me to it :).

:) I'm just special like that, I suppose.

It's hard to socialize. As in, it's difficult to say the "right" things.

Talking to friends and new people, mostly. To myself, I sound boring and monotonous. Sorry... :( Well, I'm not an outcast, but I want to get better at talking.

Do you find that random things pop into your head sometimes?

Say them.

I hardly ever talk. I'm there, I'm listening, I'm still your friend, but I don't usually talk. Its just that my bottom teeth are too low in my mouth, thus when I open my mouth it looks like I have no teeth :( Thats why I try to minimize it. I wish I had a good smile. I'd be so much more confident.

Actually, it's just hard for me to talk to people I'm not close to. Which is a lot of people. Often it's because the subject they talk about I have no interest in, and when they talk amongst themselves it seems as if no one else is allowed into their conversation, which makes it hard for me to join in. Hence my reputation known for being "quiet". I'm perfectly comfortable speaking to my friends, though.

well, kissmekate, i've noticed from a lot of your threads you seem worried about socializing, etc. i think it would come easier if you didnt think about it so much. as far as talking to your peers, talk about classes(generally complaining though, lol), tv, music, movies, plans for hanging out, extracurricular activities/sports, annoying family members, other annoying people, pets, sometimes politics, or even the weather. most of the time conversations flow naturally, because you tend to talk about whatever other people are talking about, but those topics can fill awkward silences.

The only conversation I had today at lunch was about Remote Accessing a computer in my Computer Class's LAN through the IP Address and Subnet Mask. Then, we would access the whole WAN of the school through the network settings XD

I swear.

Thanks.

GreenDayFan, I agree with what you said about me worrying too much. And ChaosTheory that sounds fabulous.

I talked about colleges, Asians, high school, getting wasted, pep assemblies, our football team, shoes, travel, money, basketball, and making bets today.

Maybe you should use Internet Networking Hacking as a topic starter? XD

oh boy I have no problem with talking lol I'm extremely talkative, well at least with my friends or when I'm having a conversation, but somehow I come across as reserved when meeting new people, especially adults. But like I don't have any problem talking to them or anything, and in class, I'm always the first one to answer a question lol.
