Socially, what is each UC known for?

<p>I think many people have gotten a good understanding of what each UC is known for academically, but that shouldn’t be the only thing to factor into your college choice since you have to live there for 4 years! So what would you guys say as to what each UC’s social atmosphere is like?</p>

<p>From what I’ve read it seems like this:
UCSB: most laid back atmosphere and hard partiers. Most attractive guys&girls
UCI: more reserved kids
UCSC: the pothead capital of the UCs
UCLA: The most down to earth and academically-competitive kids
UCB: Quirky intelligent, opinionated folk</p>

<p>That’s just the impression I’ve gotten from hearing what others have to say</p>
