<p>Hi, I applied to UCs Davis, SD, LA and Berkeley and if accepted to SD, LA and/or Berkeley I know what concentration I would go into within Sociology but in Davis I don't know whether Sociology: comparative studies A.B. or Organizational Studies A.B. is more apporpriate for my interest in Human Resources (Recruiting/generalist). I am also minoring in Communications. Thanks! </p>

<p>One more question: all prereqs will be finished by spring 08 and gpa is around 3.4 and my friend will be the same except his gpa is around 2.6, will he be able to get into any of the UCs mentioned above? Myself?</p>

<p>I would say organizational studies but I would talk to a counselor. Your friend will have a tough time trying to get into the UC's you mentioned with that low of a GPA.</p>

<p>I thought uc berkeley required a 3.0 at least to be considered.</p>

<p>Oh, my friend didn't apply to Berkeley or LA, sorry, he applied to UCs Santa Cruz, San Diego, Davis, and Santa Barbara.</p>

<p>I think he could still have a somewhat possible shot at UCSB, UCSC, UCD
not real sure about UCD... and most likely a very little chance at UCSD.....you can never be to sure so he may or may not just have to wait and see good luck.....</p>
