Software??

Is there any software that anyone can think of that is a necessity for a biology major??
-thanks-

Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, iTunes, and your FPS of choice.

beyond that, it probably depends entirely on your college.

yeah, no problem.

Internet explorer!? LOL

fine, I use Mozilla Firefox and don't think that IE is as good, but still...
just to be generic.
: ) lol

what is FPS??

first person shooter. get counter strike 1.6 (not source--it's garbage, really).

i meant specifically like math/stat software or is excel enough...

Hi sros16. you should have word processing software, and the spreadsheet software. You might have to do presentations in class, so Powerpoint could be useful. If you have to do some image editing for graphics files to use in your presentations or papers, then an image editing software could be useful. I'm assuming your computer should come with some kind of a media player (like Windows media player) to play audio lectures that might be provided to you in some kind of audio format, or to play streaming video lectures. And most importantly, don't forget at least a solitaire computer game to give you a break from working too hard (mah-jongg anyone :) )

lol...thanks chubeebo
