<p>Are students required to have a soldering kit for ECE? If so, do they need a specific one? Are there any requirements for tools or gadgets in the first year classes for ECE?</p>

<p>My D needed the soldering kit for ECE 131. It was sold through the school and cost $60. I believe it included components for making a few items.</p>
