<p>I think what the OP and others mean by happy is that, you should not attend a bs/md program solely for it being a bs/md program.</p>
<p>You should pick a school that you would enjoy even without the medical school guarantee. If this school ends up being the one with the bs/md program, then its a nice positive, if not, go to the other school and work hard to enter med school. As many have mentioned, it is much easier to succeed when you enjoy where you are.</p>
