Do these stats give me a serious chance for transferring to UC Berkeley?

Is it advisable to retake the SAT or take the ACT for a higher score?

Is UCB even worth the effort for my major?

Any input would be appreciated

They will not look at your high school GPA and SAT score if you apply as a junior transfer (you can’t even post it in your application!)
What do you want to major in at Berkeley? Will you have all of Berkeley’s major pre- reqs completed?
I don’t know if it’s worth it to go through the transfer process for you. Are you unhappy at Davis? If yes, I suggest you go for it. You have nothing to lose by applying to Berkeley.

I want to major in political science and economics. I can have both prereqs completed at Davis but transferring and graduation with a double major seems very difficult if not impossible. I am happy at Davis and one of the most significant benefits that I’m giving up by transferring is priority registration for four years. Going to Berkeley as a junior transfer will definitely make my life tougher but I feel like I’m missing out on the advantages that a prestigious school can provide for me.

ur HS stats look pretty decent. im surprised u didn’t get in ur freshman year.

correct. F#@k

anyone else care to weigh in?
