some advice for the ones applying to Princeton this year?

This is for the ones recently admitted to Princeton that want to share their experience with the ones who want to follow them. What do you think was the most important aspect of your application? Was it your grades, your essay, your ECs, the interview? What would you recommend us to do this summer and the next school year? And one more (hope not stupid) question, did you use the common application or their application? Does it matter which one we use?

make your application stand out. take a course in underwater basket weaving or something...

Any other opinions?
