Hi, I'm going to be an incoming senior in high school this year and have yet to take any subject tests. It's really crunch time time because I want to take the SAT reasoning test one more time also.

How many subject tests are you allowed to take on a testing day? I'm hoping to take two tests, if not three but I don't know how the scheduling will work out.

Are all the subject tests given at the same time, or are they at different times so that one could take one in the morning and one in the afternoon or something like that. . .

Thanks

3 on 1 testing day...

plain and simple

Yeah, you do three in a row basically. However, keep in mind that if a particular test isn't offered on a particular date, you simply aren't allowed to take it on that date. So, you can't just randomly decide to take any subject tests on whatever date you want. You first need to make sure that they're offered. For example, language subject tests with listening are only offered in November.

Cool thanks that's a relief. Looks like most are offered on every test date. whew! thanks!

I think the language w/ listening tests are pretty much the only ones with scheduling issues, and as said, these can only be taken in November.

And as has also been said, you can take 1,2, or 3, in one test date, but you must take them all in a row. You can, however, take those three in whatever order you want...except maybe the listening ones, I believe those may all be taken in the first slot, but I didn't take one, so I could be wrong on that.

You're right with listening tests. However, there are other exams that have scheduling issues:

World History: Only offered in December and June.

German and Hebrew: Only offered in June.

French and Spanish: Always offered except for in November.

Italian: Only offered in December.

Latin: Only offered in December and June.

All listening tests: Only offered in November.

The exams that aren't in the list are offered on every testing date. So, apart from the languages, only World History isn't always administered.

Thanks pinnip and rocker! Thats exactly what I was looking for. Fortunately none of those tests apply to me. Awesome.!
