Some Books To Help Parents With Their Child's Transition to College

At Freshman Orientation my D’s school gave us some recommendations for parent’s reading, which I thought I’d pass on. Originally I was just going to post it to the Class of 2018, but thought it might help others too.

Letting Go: A parent’s guide to understanding the college years. By Levin Coburn and K & Lawrence Treeger.
The University Parent guide to supporting your student’s freshman year. By S. Schupp
The Naked Roommate: For parents only. By H. Cohen
You’re On Your Own (but I’m here if you need me): Mentoring your child during the college years. By M. Savage
Emptying the Nest: Launching your young adult toward success and self-reliance. By B. Sachs.

They also recommended the following website: greatergood.berkeley.edu/raising happiness/post/how to help kids adjust to college

Hope someone finds this helpful. Regards.
