I'm an OOS junior at a pretty intensely competitive private high school.

Skimming through these forums, I'm becoming a little confused as far as GPA. My school unfortunately does not give us a 4.0 scale GPA, but rather a percentage. I have a 98% (which is quite high, but not perfect, top 10% (school doesn't officially rank)). I have THE most rigorous courseload my school offers (I take 2 science classes, one of which is all seniors except me and 2 other jr's) All my classes are AP/Honors.

UMich says they don't recalculate for honors and things, so I was just wondering if any accepted students could tell me how this all looks?

I guess they only look at soph/junior, so I'll only list those, but frosh year was about the same, maybe a little lower grades.

(Also, I was confused as to what constitutes a Michigan 'A'. At my school A is 93-100 but at most publics I know of it's 90-100.)

Next year I'm taking AP Physics, AP Calc BC, AP Comp Gov, AP Euro Hist, AP Brit Lit, and AP Spanish

I got a 33 ACT, (just retook and REALLY think I improved a lot) am very involved, well rounded extracurriculars (not going to list them all).

My schools sends a lot of students to schools like BC, ND, Northwestern, etc.

Just to sort of put it in perspective, my counselor told me that from my school, 5 applied to UMich, 2 got accepted, 2 waitlisted. The two that got in had a 32/99% W average, and a 33/100% W average. The waitlisted had 29/89% and a 24/93%. The rejected had a 23/83%.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
