Some decisions out!

For those who dont know… Drexel is really pushing hard to gain the status of one of the best universities in the US and I think it is succeeding. Good emerging co-ops, new scholarahips and other things to attract a diverse and vast student body. One way to do this is by admitting more students each year. So long as this trend continues I think almost everyone here will SATs above 1500 will be asmitted to Drexel. So keep calm and wait for it.

@optimisticer- you mean 1500/1600 or 1500/2400?

I meant 1500/2400… 1500/1600 is higher than Most Ivy League averages…lol… But I guess 1500 is for national students. For international 1700+ i guess… They dont even require SATII scores and till last year no toefl score was compulsary… Although this year they did ask me to submit my toefl score

^all colleges ask for a TOEFL score…it can be waived if you have a CR score of >600 (on average)

I got my TOEFL waived everywhere!! :D

@SAT456 - Dude don’t worry - your stats are similar to mine(if not better!!) which means you’ll be accepted too!! It is just a question of how many applications Drexel received in the last few weeks & how fast they are able to process them!! :D

TOEFL is not necessarily waived. Each university has its own system… Universities like MIT, Harvard ask for scores of International students regardless of your CR section perfomance in SAT. Cornell requires 670+ in order to waive. And I am pretty sure Drexel did not require last year since my brother is there and he had not got any such specification unlike me. I got a 730 in CR section in the SAT.

But I was only too glad to send my Toefl scores everywhere since I got 115/120…lol

^ Wow! How much did you score in CR to get your toefl waived everywhere?

^ question directed @lolface and @rishav

i scored a 670, got it waived everywhere.

So another batch of decisions should come out today if Drexel follows the same trend correct?
